Company History

Founded by Mr. Bernard Lecureux in 1961, the company Lecureux SA launched its activity and revolutionised the world of industry with its legendary electric screwdrivers.

At that time, some 54 employees took part in the development of the first prototypes before launching the first model in its history. The electric screwdriver is an integral part of the company’s reputation.

Located in Biel, Switzerland, in the heart of the watchmaking industry, the company counts many watchmakers among its customers. This screwdriver is used in watch assembly, and in other applications (such as medical devices) where precision and accuracy are essential. The use of an electric screwdriver with a suction cup chuck has significantly reduced the time required to remove and insert screws, while improving the quality of the movement.

Our great strength lies in the use of new technologies. Our electric screwdrivers have become real production tools. Operations such as screwing, oiling or measuring components can now be carried out in no time.

To develop original solutions, Lecureux SA places particular emphasis on innovation. Thus, out of the fifty or so employees in the company, about twenty are employed in research and development. Each product is tailor-made and adapted to a specific need.

The customer comes first

The quality and reliability of our products are important to us and other factors such as delivery times are taken into account in our manufacturing processes.

The notion of service is paramount and the close link between management and technicians is privileged with the aim of constant improvement. Our technical support is geared towards ensuring a high quality product follow-up.

Since then, we have expanded our portfolio to include a full range of fully and partially automated assembly systems. These include manual screwdrivers, screwdriver controllers, measuring systems and tabletop assembly products.

All are designed for small or very small components. Everything is developed and manufactured in-house, mainly for the Swiss, European and Asian markets.
